I'm happy to report the coloposcopy went well! The doctor said there was no need to do anything now with the abnormal cells and he will just continue to monitor it. I have a follow-up in four weeks. It's such a relief to know everything is ok. Now, I can focus on our new impending family.
I did get to hear the baby's heartbeat today. It was 161 - which is about what it has been for the past couple of visits. There's that old wisetale about girls having a faster heartbeat than boy's but I'm not trying to pay attention to that. The nurse today was saying the heartbeat can vary because of how active the baby is when they check. Last time, the nurse said the baby was very active - I joked because I haven't completely gave up caffine :) Though, I am trying to cut back!
Everyday I feel like I look like I've gained twenty pounds. But in reality, I haven't gained much per my trusty scale. This is odd because my pants completely don't fit anymore. I keep buying larger sizes in the regular department but they are not comfortable. I will cave eventually to maternity clothes - just not yet. Have you seen those clothes? They aren't that fashionable. Though lately I could care less about fashion. Crazy how things change....
