Happy 16 Months!

Emma turns 16 months tomorrow!

Nothing has changed...she still LOVES the computer. In fact, she has learned how to climb on the couch and get the computer.

One of her favorite games is Peek-A-Boo! She will cover her face, smile and say "Bbbbeeeee!" Really cute. Last night as we were driving home she caught my attention in the mirror. She covered her eyes with her hands and yelled "Bbbbbeeeee!"

For a long time nothing scared Emma. She seemed fearless. But now, she is growing fearful of some things. Especially talking stuffed animals. She used to love her talking and dancing Mickey. Now, she is quite cautious about the good ole Mickster. But then again he is a talking rat. Maybe she isn't fearful but just smart.

She loves talking on the "phone." She really gets excited and you will hear her screaming into the phone and see her throwing her hands around.
It seems like Emma is learning a new word or phrase every day. It's amazing how much she changes from month to month. Some of her new words are:
  • bubble - Thanks to the ever so present [in the Truong house] "Bubble Guppies." When she wants to watch Bubble Guppies she will say "bubble." Also, when she wants to play with the bubbles she will say "bubble." It is interesting how she has learned the word has two meanings.
  • nuh-uh - When we don't want Emma to do something we will shake our heads and say "nuh-uh." She has recently caught on to this and has been saying it.
  • no - Yep, she has learned the word but not so much the meaning. Every question you ask her she says "No."
  •  happy - She just started saying this word this week.
  • Emma - "Emmmmmm-uh" she says :)
  • Wee - For swing...When she swings we are always saying "weeeee." I guess she thinks that is what it's called :)
I'm so excited for Spring Break coming up this week. We get out on Wednesday and don't return until May 2nd. I am already planning fun things to do while Emma and I are on break :) It makes me really look forward to summer!!
