Emma has become my right hand...and my left hand. I love spending time with her. She is such a silly girl. She laughs all the time. When Hai gets up of the morning he goes into her room, changes, feeds her and brings her down into our bedroom. She lays with me until about 8ish...or sometimes 9ish if we are being extra lazy. Lately, I will wake up to her talking to herself (or the fan). She will just jib-jab to herself, laughing and smiling up a storm. It is so nice to wake up to smiling baby. Though, I was telling Hai yesterday - she definitely is set in her ways. If she gets up before 8am her day will be so off. We definitely have to work on this because when I go back to work in August she will have to get up early - definitely a lot earlier than 8am! She has been sleeping through the night - for the past couple of weeks. But the last couple of nights she has been getting up at least three or four times. I'm not sure if it is because she has finally learned how to roll over on to her belly and is getting frustrated because she can't turn back over or if maybe she is starting the teething process. Either way, it was really nice to have that stretch of uninterrupted sleep...and I think we may have got spoiled :/
Emma's first dip in her kiddie pool :) She loved it! She loves bath time so I wasn't worried she would love the pool. I made sure the water was warm and waited until the sun went down - since evidently she is a vampire and hates the sun!
Emma has finally learned how to roll over on her belly and prop herself up! It is crazy to think we were EVER worried she would master this skill. Now she tries to do it all the time...on the changing table, in her chair, on the couch, you name the place - she tries to roll :)
April 2nd was World Autism Awareness Day! Emma HAD a great blue shirt for the day. But of all days she had a spit up. The girl never spits up but of course she did that day. But this shirt ended up being just perfect :) It says, "The world is a better place with me in it." HOW TRUE! And, A BIG THANKS to all those who participated. I was so surprised and thankful to see people out and about wearing their blue and those who Facebook Status updated advocating Autism Awareness.
Emma's new jogging stroller - obviously her favorite part - the "Edible" shoulder straps!

I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for Emma to get big enough to get a jogging stroller. I'm not sure why because I'm not exactly the jogging type - more the walking/casual walker. The weather is sooo nice now and I want to take Emma to the park and other nice outdoorsy places. I've even been googling nice rose gardens (I know, right). Anyways, I saw this nice Jeep stroller at BRU the other weekend and bought it. I figured she isn't exactly long enough but she can grow into it. I thought it was a tad boyish - and of course to confirm that one of my friends who has a son sure enough has this...but oh well it is cute enough and luckily Emma isn't mistaken for a boy at all.
FYI:
Check out http://www.bows2cute.net/ for the cutest headbands and little mama hair accessories modeled often by Emma. I am hosting a Virtual Party...you will receive a 15% off coupon to use as many times as you would like! Just inbox me your email address at vanessasemail@gmail.com :) She sells not only headbands, but beanies, hairbows, and other accessories. She also has things for older girls and adults. Apparently, hair flowers for adults are all the new rage for the summer. Personally, I wouldn't sport them as I would feel like a plant but I could totally see some people working it. I must say this lady really has quality stuff. Plus, they are a lot cheaper! Check it out! If you send me your address you are under no obligation to buy anything. You will just get an email from the company with a coupon. You can choose to redeem or not redeem.
