Weekend Happenings

Lately, Emma has been chewing on her fists - sometimes trying to cram both fists in her mouth at the SAME time! She is drooling like crazing, her gums seem a little more red and swollen. It definitely seems like she is teething. Last night, she had an all out scream fit. She hasn't cried like that since she was just a couple weeks old. If it isn't a tooth coming I'm not sure what it could be? I'll definitely be mentioning it to the doctor when she goes in a couple weeks!
Saturday we went to Jetton Park. I forgot what a great park Jetton is! Emma seems to enjoy getting out and about if it is only for a walk around the park or mall. She definitely seems to sleep a lot better!
On a sidenote, you can see in this picture how much Emma is growing! The other day she was laying down beside me in bed and I had a moment...I looked down and noticed how long she was and thought I couldn't imagine her being 2 years old or older and being any longer. Hai weighed her the other night and she was (wait for it...) SEVENTEEN POINT FIVE POUNDS! She has definitely grown in inches. I wouldn't be surprised if she is in the upper twenties of inches. 3 month old outfits are definitely too short. 6 month outfits are just right and 9 month outfits give her room to grow. Crazy!!

Emma is not a huge fan of the sun! Hai picked this hat up last summer when he found out we were expecting. We thought it would be a while before Emma could wear it...guess not :) I joke and say it makes Emma look like one of those Asian ladies who you see in pictures gardening.

My parents purchased Emma this Elmo chair. She loves it! She lights up when you press the button for Elmo to talk! She has a ways to go before she can sit up on her own in it but for right now she enjoys us sitting her up in it or even just looking at it!
