18 months!

Emma had her 18 month check up today. As expected, she is super healthy! She weighed in at 26.5 lbs and 33 inches! She's growing like a weed, as they say.

Emma has started saying a lot of two word phrases lately. She will say "bye baby" when she wants to go somewhere. "Wanna play" or "Wanna Dance" when she wants me or Hai to play with her. The other day I could have swore she said, "I say no" when I asked her to stop jumping on the couch. I hope my ears were playing tricks on me! 

Emma finishing up breakfast before we left for the doctor. She has a doctors kit she plays with around the house. She will take the thermeter and check our eyes, nose, and ears. Good generalization just a little off ;) Sometimes, she will poke us with the thermeter and go "Boo-Boop." Anticipating she would get shots today I asked her if she want a "boo-boop." "No," she said.

The doctor's office is themed for each patient room. Today, she was in the fish room. Some of the fish have bubbles coming out of them. She enjoyed finding all the bubbles and squealing in delight "bubbles!!!"

Silly girl much to my dismay laying on the floor! She was trying hard to entertain herself while we waited. This picture does show just how long she has got though!
