Summer vacation is finally here!!

Today is the first day of summer vacation! It seems like the last couple of weeks just dragged! I am so glad to have some time off - it came just as my patience ran short ;) I'm excited to be able to spend time with Emma.

I created a "Summer Wish Bucket" for Emma. Inside of the bucket I listed activities on small pieces of paper. Activities include storytime at the library, craft activity, trips to local farms or kid musuems, etc. Some of them are small at home activities while some other ones are day trip things. Sometimes, it is hard to come up with things to do on the spot. So, I thought this would remedy that situation. Whenever we need something to do Emma can draw from the bucket an activity. While I don't think Emma can understand it completely, I think it will be a good tradition to start.
