We are halfway though! Yay! Actually, last week at the doctors office I was measuring right at 20 weeks. So, we could possibly be 21 weeks now. However, I'm going to stick with my current count - at 20 weeks - because I've heard so many people who measure ahead end up not going on time anyways.
This week the baby is about the length of a banana and the weight of a small cantelope. At our ultrasound NutterButter was 11 ounces. So, I imagine she is just a little bigger today :) She can now practice breathing to prepare her to breath outside the womb once her lungs mature. Also, the baby can enjoy uterine sounds (and hopefully, everyone around us!) now as her ears are completely operational.
I feel movements all the time now. She definitely is developing a pattern of awake and sleep times. During the day, when I'm home along she doesn't move too much - I suppose because it's quiet. However, around the afternoon time she is wide awake and kicking - just in time for her dad to come home. She kicks a lot when I bend a certain way or sit a certain way. Obviously, she doesn't like to be disturbed! She will move around until I reposition. My mom says she has my diva-ish personality :)
