Summer Fun

Summer has arrived and that means great, fun activites are all around us! I am trying to keep Emma busy with fun stuff to do. She does a lot better when we are busy.

The public library is offering Baby and Me classes which I must say is just a deeeeelight! I wasn't sure if they would be worth the time but they are really good. We sing songs, do little dances, exercises, and of course the librian reads a couple stories. Also, ImaginOn downtown offers a lot of different activities for little wee readers and they have a tot area where Emma can just go and play and I can read stories to her. I am excited that she likes to listen to me read books...and of course she will look at them and try to eat them :)

Emma loves the pool so we bought her a little kiddie pool. We have turned our garage into a little sitting area (work in progress). So, she can sit in her pool in the shade. She loves to sit there and watch the cars pass, the wind blow, and dogs go by. I swear the other day she sat in that pool for about an hour and probably could have sat for a lot longer if I would have let her. She is a fish!!!

At ImagionOn in the play area. There was a boy on the other side of this school bus toy. She was trying to get his attention and he wouldn't pay her any attention. She was getting so frustrated with him!!

Looking at books!

Barnes and Nobles is hosting different characters the 2nd Saturday of every month. This month it was Peter Rabbit. Next month it is Clifford. She loves our dogs so I'm hoping she will love a big red one :)
