7 months!!
Emma turned 7 months old yesterday! I can hardly believe it. It seems like it was just yesterday we were bringing her home. But on the flipside, it is hard to remember life without her!
~Gone are the days when we could sit her down in one spot and be rest assured she would sit there for a couple minutes. Oh no! She is on the move! Not quite crawling but a good and fast scoot. She doesn't pick up her belly but she sure moves fast!
~She is eating little finger foods. I picked up some of the Gerber sweet potato finger melts. She loves them. She has the hardest time putting them in her mouth because she doesn't use her thumb. It is so funny to watch. She will try for a good while then she will get upset and want me to put it in her mouth. If I put it in my hand she will push my hand up to her mouth. Silly girl!
~She has learned to push herself up to her knees and sometimes even up onto her feet! She does this a lot in her pack n play! I figure it won't be long before she is standing up in her crib. She particularly tries hard to do this by the couch where the laptop usually stays. She will do just about anything to get to the laptop - she is fascinated by it!
~She is making more and more sounds. Everyday it seems she becomes more vocal...and louder!
~Next Sunday, we will have Emma's dedication at our church, Rocky River Community Church. We are so excited to share this event with our family and friends! We will be having a small celebration afterwards at our home!
