Emma is just recovering from her first cold :( It was so sad...she had the worst runny nose that turned into a stuffy nose. She hated the nose sucker thing. It was horrible trying to clean her nose. She had a little, dry cough. She was so sleepy. On Friday, she didn't even have the energy to cry when she normally would cry. It was pitiful. She seems to be feeling better today!P.S. Look how LONG she is getting!!!
Emma at Dan Nickolas Park! She loved it!
Emma is getting so much better with her sippy cup! She holds her bottle like a pro...and with more practice I think it won't be long before she is a pro with the sippy cup. She isn't too fond of water or juice, though, still preferring good ole soy!
She is so independent and thinks she is a BIG girl. She would much rather prefer to sip from a "regular" cup like everyone else at the table. If you are holding her when you have a regular cup she will try to take sips. We let her practice with the kiddie cups and she actually does okay.
Emma is such a funny girl. She is babbling so much...it is hard to make out a lot of what she says but she does say "hey" a lot! Haha. She laughs ALLLLL the time. She strings together a lot of consonants and vowels but not neccessarily making anything but goofy sounds - but we love to hear it! Sometimes, it sounds like she says "mama" and "dada" but mostly that is when she is crying at night...haha. Coincidence, surely.Special congrats to Emma's Uncle Long - he was recently ENGAGED!! Yay! Emma will soon have an Aunt (Kristen). They are planning to get married in April. Emma has been asked to be the flower girl - hopefully, she will be able to walk...or else maybe the dogs can pull her down the aisle -hehe.
