9 month check-up

Emma had her nine month check up today! The doctor said she is growing just as healthy as can be! She was 21lbs and 28 3/4 inches tall! He said she is "just one tall baby!!" I told him it would be nice if he could tell everyone that who keeps telling me "Oh, she is such a BIIIIGGGG baby!" ;)

I'm starting to plan Emma's 1st birthday party. Combine the fact that I'm an "over planner" with the fact her birthday comes right in the middle of the busiest season of the year I have my to-do list chalked full. I keep going back and forth on themes - polka dots, simple pink and white, character themes, etc. So, no telling what we finally decide!!

Emma is finally healthy again - Praise the Lord!! I know being in daycare this won't last long. So, I am thankful for the time we have! Hai and I are sick now. It seems like we have had months of sickness around this house since I started back to work. I'm trying to maintain a positive attitude about it all - but sometimes it isn't too easy.
