As I alluded to in the last post Emma has been sick. For the last six days (yes, we are counting) Emma has had a horrible virus. Anything she eats goes straight through her. It has been horrible for her and yes, even us. We've dealt with the dreaded diaper rash. And dealt with the return of the runny nose and horrible cough. The cough has been so bad at times she has thrown up because of the force. I had called the doctor earlier in the week and the said there was nothing you could do but "let it run it's course." However, after 5 days it seemed that it just wasn't healthy for it to continue running it's course. Emma even looked like she had lost weight. Yesterday, Hai took Emma to the doctor and he finally gave us something to hopefully get this out of her system.
With each sickness and with each craziness that seems to ensue because of it I am finding that maybe Emma is destined to just be an only child. As my dad says about why they only had one child, "We did it right the first time so why try again."
I said that, and look at me... 5 months pregnant!
