Christmas decorations are out!

I saw this Garfield comic in the paper the other day (click the comic to make it bigger). It reminded me of how I feel when people talk about my belly getting bigger. I might start taking the Garfield approach.

I saw Christmas decorations at the Dollar Store the other day. Soooo exciting! It's ALMOST time! Heck, I'm even excited about Halloween decor being out - in fact, I'm even giving out candy for Halloween. And not just candy - candy bags. Halloween just isn't a celebration with costumes - it's a celebration of making it through pregnancy so far!
Baby Emma's progress this week:
  • Emma weighs around 2 1/2 pounds - about the size of a butternut squash, whatever that is.
  • Her muscles and lungs are continuing to develop.
  • Emma's head is growing - making room for her ever growing brain :)
  • BUT her head is proportionate to her body!!
  • Her brain can control breathing and body temperature.
  • In the next 11 weeks, Emma will double her weight!

Hai and I start childbirth classes this week. I am excited because I think it will help time pass. I feel like I've been twenty-something weeks FOREVER! Once, I hit thirty weeks I think I will plan a mini-celebration :)
