Emma is 2 weeks today! I can't believe she is already 2 weeks old. She is changing so much everyday.
We celebrated her 2 week birthday with a trip to the doctor! Last night Emma was crying constantly as if she were in pain. I figured it was gas but I didn't want to take a chance because of our bout in the hospital. The doctor confirmed it was gas and it's just Emma's digestive system is just getting started and running. We changed formula, switched to Dr. Brown's bottles and are trying the anti-gas drops. Hopefully, that will find all of us some peace. She seems to be tolerating the formula a little better. As I speak she is sitting next to me sleeping...and snoring. She still has a little bit of that newborn congestion so when she sleeps (she sleeps with her mouth open) she sounds like she is snoring. She's her father's child :)
Liam and Maura both had a hard time with gas bubbles as babies. Our doctor showed us how to press gently on their tummies to help push that out. It was a great help!
