The doctor has encouraged me to continue "resting." I think asking a pregnant woman to "rest" during her last weeks of pregnancy is kind of ironic. Even at rest I'm out of breath. But, I was thinking the other day how fortunate I am to have two great dogs. Honestly, without them I would probably go crazy during the day. Next to Hai, they are the best company a girl could ask for :) I think they are anticipating something new...they see all the new furniture, they have obviously seen me getting bigger, and they've seen the new nursery. I've heard dogs can sense things like this and also, that they can hear the heartbeat. Max loves to sit near my stomach with his ear on my belly. Maybe, he can hear her then?

Maddie isn't sure what to make of the belly...she mostly stares and then sighs! Literally, she sighs.
