We did make some progress in a week! I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. Obviously, that isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things but it is progress. Nonetheless, the doctor thought it would be good to go ahead and induce - afterall, we could be sitting at 1 cm this time next week or maybe not...it's just a game. We will check in the hospital tomorrow night at 7pm to begin the Cervadil. The dr. said sometimes the Cervadil will cause you to go into labor. However, if it doesn't then they can give you the medicine to induce.
Suddenly, everything seems very REAL! I'm quite nervous about labor. But I know I will make it through. I am soooo excited to finally meet Emma and see what she looks like :)
And of course, we will keep everyone posted through Facebook status updates! Haha! What would one do without Facebook?!?!
